In 1990 JewelSmiths wrote and published the "Comprehensive Guide to Handling Jewelry Repairs". He was voted Man of the Year by the Oklahoma Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation in 1987 and was president of the Casady Kiwanis Club 1989-1990.
