Custom Design Service
Our Premium Custom Design Service is geared for those that need a
more tangible or visual image of what they are looking for.
The process
begins by us reviewing your confidential online questionnaire, which
helps us to determine the scope of your custom design mission. We
then contact you and discuss our initial findings and get a feel from
you, as to which of our visual services we offer would best fit your
needs such as: sketches, colored renderings, 2d and 3d computer graphic
imaging, or actual size wax models of proposed designs.
Although
we are often asked, we do not offer our design services to non-custom
order clients. Our visual design services are billed out to you on
a time and materials basis. Design services are paid in advance along
with what we refer to as a good faith deposit which is a token fee
that we collect and apply to the total cost of building the project
for you. We will email an estimate of the cost and scope of your selected
visual design services along with your required good faith deposit
in advance for your approval and payment.
Once
we receive your payment we will start by providing you with 2-3 designs
to choose from in which ever of our visual services that you have
selected. Wax models are sent you via Federal Express. Please note
that wax models must be handled carefully as they are fragile and
prone to breakage. Although most times we hand fabricate jewelry directly
in metal, we do ask that you return waxes to us so that we may use
them as a guide while making your project. All of our other visual
services will be sent to you via email within in 10 to 14 business
days. For most of our customers this is sufficient. We pride ourselves
in being experts in asking the right questions that enable us to visualize
your design mission quickly and precisely in a manner that keeps your
visual design costs to a minimum.
Once
we have mutually determined and confirmed the design of your custom
jewelry project, we will email you a detailed price quote with a targeted
completion date. In order to meet the targeted completion date, we
ask that you confirm your order within 24 hours via email and by sending
us a 50 percent deposit of the total cost minus your good faith deposit.
Once we receive your deposit, we will immediately notify you and begin
your custom project. You will be contacted once your project is completed
and we ask that you make you final payment at that time.
We make
nearly everything by hand in our manufacturing facility located within
our storefront location. Once a project commences, any design changes
made, which we refer to as change orders, will increase the total
cost of your custom project. All change orders will be based on the
additional amount of time and materials taken to complete your project
and must be confirmed via email.
Upon
receiving your final payment your custom order is shipped to you insured
via Federal Express, Brinks, or registered mail.
